Kallie Marie, at the young age of 5 years old, suffered a spontaneous spinal stroke ( FCE – Fibrocartilaginous Embolism). She lost mobility on her entire right side, front and back legs. We did tons of therapy – you name it, we tried it – immediate hospitalization, water therapy, hyperbaric chamber treatments, acupuncture, massage, PT, tens therapy, electroacupuncture, Assisi Loop therapy, etc. We saw improvements in her back leg but her front leg was still dragging and there was barely any deep pain reflex. About a year after her stroke, we found Dr. B and Trilogy on Instagram of all things, and decided to give chiropractic treatments a try! Immediately after her first adjustment, we noticed her licking her affected paw, which was a sign of possible pins/needles feeling! We also noticed her starting to place her paw much better and start to bear more weight! She still has her deficits, and we noticed the rest of her body, legs, and muscles trying to compensate for the bad front leg, but the Trilogy team has loved on her so hard and kept her much more comfortable! She loves to give her Kallie hugs and we look forward to each visit!
